For the child:

To provide oppotunities for being with other children
in a setting conductive to the development of a wholesome
social relationship with the group.
To provide appropriate play experiences that contribute
to the development needs of the child.
To provide opportunities for meaningful play that is based
on the child's needs, interests and strengths and that will build
an important foundation for future reading skills and other academic
pursuits.

For the community:

To help meet the needs of the community for an early childhood
education facility.
To contribute to the growth and development of the future citizens
of the community.
To provide a setting where people from various backgrounds can
work together for a common interest.
